Behavior Therapist
Behavior Therapist work under the supervision of BCaBA’s, BCBA’s, and BCBA-D’s.  In addition, behavior therapists work a minimum of ten hours a week and attend mandatory bi-weekly supervision meetings. While working with the families we attend duties include, giving ABA therapy for inappropriate behaviors, taking data behavior data,  administering skill acquisition assessments, and implementing maintenance and replacement behavioral programs.  If you are interested in this position the requirements are as follows:

•Minimum of 3 college credits in behavior analysis
•Minimum of 60 college credit courses in any field
•Attend a 3 day mandatory ABA training seminar
•Pass a practical and written exam on the third day of training seminar
•Flexible Schedule

BCaBA
BCaBA’s work under the supervision of BCBA’s and BCBA-D’s, and supervise behavior therapist.  Behavior Therapist work a minimum of ten hours a week with the families we serve. Their duties include, giving ABA therapy for inappropriate behaviors, supervising behavior therapist, administering skill acquisition assessments, implementing maintenance and replacement programs, and working directly with our BCBA’s and BCBA-D’s.  If you are interested in this position the requirements are as follows:

•Minimum of Bachelors Degree
•Flexible schedule

BCBA
BCBA’s work under the supervision of our clinical directors and supervise behavior therapist and BCaBA’s. As a BCBA you must have a flexible schedule to work with the families we serve. Job duties of a BCBA include, writing functional behavioral assessments, executing a behavioral program, providing supervision for behavior therapist and BCaBA’s,  administering verbal assessments,  designing skill acquisition assessments, and designing/ implementing maintenance and replacement programs.  If you are interested in this position the requirements are as follows:

President

Adam Ventura, MS, BCBA is the president of Automaticity, inc. When he isn’t managing all 75 staff members, designing/ executing behavioral programs, and providing therapy for the families we serve, you can find him at Florida International University working as a professor teaching behavior analysis courses to aspiring Behavior Analysts.  Along, with owning a business and being a professor at a university, he also serves the community as a Professional Crisis Management instructor (PCM).  As a PCM instructor, he teaches the community how to handle crisis situations when handling severe problematic behaviors such as aggression and self injurious tendencies that occur in the developmental disabilities population.

Behavior Therapist
Clinical Director

Heather Scott MA, BCBA is the clinical director for our Broward location. Other than directing our clinical offices in Broward, heather is a mother of two, has worked with children and families with special needs for over 15 years. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and attended Colombia University in New York where she received her graduate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, specializing in behavior disorders in educational settings. She also holds permanent NY teaching certification in special education. Much of her training was done in various classroom settings, where she trained teachers how to manage difficult student behavior while maximizing individualized educational outcomes.
