Missioneros Del Camino
Missioneros Del Camino was envisioned by Mrs. Leonor’s visit to Guatemala in 1976 where she helped aid earthquake victims from the tragic effects it left on February 4, 1976. During this time, she was overwhelmed from seeing the multitude of children living in poverty that she felt compelled to take action to help them out. After raising $2700, she moved to Guatemala in 1986 where she opened a home for children. Her primary goal is to help malnourished, abandoned, and orphaned children by providing them with a shelter which offers the opportunity to be raised in nurturing environment. Her goal is to help these children become productive citizens of the society to break the cycle of ignorance and poverty.
